Review on Samsung Galaxy Watch 42 mm Wi-Fi NFC RU, rose gold/pink beige by Adam uciuk ᠌

It was a terrible purchase, but I wasted my money.

This black watch was a gift from my wife to the DR. While I like using it at first, the fact that it only holds a charge for a few days is a major drawback. The floor counter started acting up after a couple of months, and it turned out to be a huge problem (contrary to what Samsung support may tell you; I found this out by googling the profile boards). As a result, I took it in to get serviced, and even though the clock was only a month old, they indicated that moisture had gotten inside (though "how?" was met with a blank stare) and that the entire circuit board and rear cover had to be replaced to ensure that the watch was still watertight. I experienced the same problem with my swimsuits again after 9 months, but this time I decided to only wear them in the shower and bath, so I didn't wear them in the pool and they wouldn't replace them under warranty. It appears that her lifespan is limited. I filed an insurance claim with Samsung, and they responded promptly through email. Help from Samsung is deplorable. Don't trust the "waterproof" marketing gimmick. This is not a watch I would suggest! After a year of using her Active 2 phones, my wife had no complaints. I considered making the switch, but I was disappointed by Samsung's treatment of customers.

Pros
  • Useful tools assist ensure that essential calls are not missed, and they remind you of everything from upcoming meetings and training sessions to when it's time to charge your phone and check your various messaging apps.
Cons
  • Waterproofing, or the lack thereof, Samsung's customer service is horrible when it comes to battery life.
