Great for cast iron
I use them for two things: great and gentle jam removing bits from my cast iron skillet - without removing the spices. Second, when I'm mopping my hardwood floor and sticking small items to the floor, this thing lifts them off with minimal flex. In both cases, the plastic is strong enough to fix problems but soft enough not to scratch.
