I love using this kitchen spatula when cooking. It has a very flat and smooth edge and snatches all types of food off my cutting board when I pick it up! Foodies like chopped herbs also thrive here. This isn't a dustpan where 85% of the dirt goes into the dustpan and the rest is swept under for you to find. nope! It catches everything! The handle is very handy and lies comfortably in the hand. There are ribs on the sides that help hold the food in place when you pick it up, instead of letting it fall off the sides like some scoops can. I wash this item by hand and also in the dishwasher and it has held up very well. The color has not changed and nothing has been damaged. I also use it to cut dough in half! It works well for this (see photo). The dough I cut didn't stick to the scoop either! This is an item I would recommend others to have in their kitchen. I would love to give this as a gift too!
