I have a light cream leather cut that was damaged when a friend dropped a blue marker on it. She scrubbed so hard to get the ink off that she wiped the trim right off the leather. There was a blank spot the size of a silver dollar on the leather seat. I first tried to fix it with shoe polish but it didn't work. I also tried another brand of paint but I couldn't find the right color. It looked bad. I ordered a Leather Max kit which included 3 shades to mix and match in hopes of being able to match the color somehow. After applying several coats of Leather Max and adjusting the color a bit, I was able to get an almost exact color match. The damaged area is now barely visible. You have to be very careful. The difference is mainly in the texture of the skin in this area, having been smoothed out by the initial brushing that caused the damage. The color is almost perfect. The support from the seller was also very good. The first package I received froze during delivery. This permanently changed the texture of the dye, making it unusable. I have contacted the seller. They explained why the texture was thick and lumpy and quickly sent another batch. It was very easy to mix and use. My friend is delighted because even though she ruined the section that was only a few years old.
