It was a bit pricey because I wanted a screwdriver that I will only use occasionally on my scope but I'm glad that I chose this one. My other option was the Wheeler FAT wrench, but as the name suggests the handle is quite thick and I wanted the thinner wrench to fit better in my hiking bag and it does it quite well. The handle is approximately 1 and 5/8 inches wide and weighs 10.8 ounces. The torque range is listed as 5-40lbf but can be adjusted from 3-48lbf, but I doubt they guarantee it's accurate outside of that range. It adjusts in 0.5lb-in increments and locks in place very securely, depending on the half-pound increment you choose. It works like this: you pull the wheel from above and turn it to the desired torque. A full revolution of the wheel is 5 in-lbs, and a scale on the side of the handle housing tells you where you are in the 5-lb range. So if the scale is between 10 and 15 and the dial reads 2.0 then theoretically you have 12 inch pounds. And also theoretically, when the dial is at zero, the slider on the scale should be right on one of the 5 pound marks, but it's not. It's close enough to one or the other that it's not clear which it's supposed to be, but given the steep price tag, I expected it to be right. But overall it's a very good tool and that's just a minor complaint.
