Review on πŸ₯˜ Oster Roaster Oven 22 Qt Stainless Steel with Self-Basting Lid: The Ultimate Cooking Companion! by Darcy Rud

A handy gadget for ovens and toasters

I've always wanted a roaster and after making a great spare rib on Christmas Eve I immediately started reading the reviews. This is the one I bought. The first thing I made was a 6lb roast pork with about 5lbs of veggies and tons of extra room! It brewed in just over 2 hours and was divine! I love that I have extra cooking space when I cook dinner and it also makes cooking easier for my 70 year old mother because she doesn't have to bend down to put something in the oven and take it out. I used the cookbook as a guide, but I googled some information because the book is pretty sparse and mostly just background information. The whole block is a bit heavy and if lifting is a problem get help. The liner is not heavy but has sharp edges. Be careful when lifting and washing. Also, food sticks to it. I had to rub hard to get food from underneath. I'll investigate and see if I can line it with foil to help with gluing. I also agree with others that it is quite hot when cooking. So don't forget to bring an oven mitt or towel when removing the lid. I haven't had any problems with paint peeling, but I'll keep an eye on it. Overall, despite the price, this is a great addition to our range of cooking appliances and will be used frequently. I can't wait to make Cornish Chickens. I have attached a picture and the bottle of beer is for reference only. That was at hand.
