Fantastic machine! I really like how much quieter it is than my other two vacuums that will soon be sold or going to landfill. I have two Dysons, DC25 and DC41 Animal. I've had the DC25 for a few years now and I love it. But after a while it started kicking the dust back up into the air. You could smell it every time you turned it over. I've flushed the filters, bought new filters, tried troubleshooting but nothing helped. So I switched it to garage service. Then I bought a DC41 Animal. Why? Dyson adverts were and are everywhere, and everyone who is serious about cleaning has them. I must have had a defect. Fast forward 2 years and the same thing will happen again to dust in the air even after buying new filters. At this point, I blame myself for being drawn to Dyson's marketing. But I'm not mad like Apple, they are good at marketing inferior products. So I went in search of the best vacuum cleaner and after many days of reading and watching good old YouTube I settled on Miele. What a great decision I finally made. Beautiful color and nothing but clean, warm air comes from this baby! And so quiet! Which is definitely a plus considering I have tinnitus and had to wear headphones while vacuuming with the Dyson. Expensive, yes. But it's worth it if you suffer from allergies and tinnitus. With this Miele and the Filtrete 2400 I no longer feel like a prisoner in my own house. Cleanliness and stillness, Mile.
