Review on Smart electric grill Optigrill Elite GC750D30, thickness sensor by Adam Nikodem ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Money to nowhere, poor quality of the goods.

The other day I received this device, the acquisition of which was, without exaggeration, for years. I chose this model for a long time and settled on this model, besides, it simply tore apart all the ratings. Measuring the thickness of a piece, due to which the cooking time is calculated, the possibility of cooking frozen foods, a huge number of modes - according to the description, everything is beautiful, until it comes to practice. The striploin steak was the first to go into business, here, I will not dissemble, it turned out amazingly, roasting, as stated. Although, by the way, two absolutely identical steaks were fried for some reason in different ways: one was noticeably redder, although they were put in and taken out at the same time. Then the vegetables are also good, but because of the proprietary angle of inclination it is difficult to lay down, because everything rolls around. But then it’s more fun: on the whole Internet I found only one review somewhere in the comments that this model overcooks the chicken, that day there should have been shins, so later I was convinced of this myself: the legs were black outside and dry inside. Intellectually? I wouldn't say. Next are the kupaty, on which the grill was laid for 30 minutes🤯 where ? In the pan, 5 minutes on each side is enough. I took them out 10 minutes before the end, and they were already a bit dry, if they had been cooked to the end, they would have burned for sure. The next tuna steak was taken out 3 minutes before the end of the "medium rare", they were completely fried. In general, an intelligent grill must be regulated by its own intellect. With such success, it was possible to take the most primitive one for 4 thousand and also guess and pinpoint what and when. I conclude that this grill is only good for beef steaks and vegetables, but I was actually going to cook everything in it. All in all, this is my big disappointment.

Pros
  • Grill is grill - simple and tasty.
Cons
  • Ill-conceived programs, an “intelligent” grill is never intelligent, sets a strange cooking time, thereby spoiling the food.
