Very good boots for the price. It's not winter here yet, so I can't comment on heat or water resistance. But it fits well and serves our purpose. There is only one problem and that is if you have your laces tied tightly like they should be and you try to use the zipper to take your boots off it won't work. My son loved the idea of zipping up so he doesn't have to tie his laces every time. And he's a little frustrated that the zipper is basically useless because he has to unzip and tie his shoes every time. releases the foot from the shoe when released.
