Like the device, when I connected it to my Android phone, it worked as expected, but the only major issue was the absolutely horrible stench coming out of the case. It smelled freaking gross to the point that if you put a blanket on your bed, your comforter will also smell like "sneezing mixed with sweat". I even threw the cover in the washing machine, but that didn't help either, it still stunk. Who knows, maybe someone faked the case before it came to me, the sellers just didn't care, and they hoped that stench wouldn't cause concern among their buyers. Surely the smell came from the body and not from the device itself. But as they say if you don't have a sense of smell you will be satisfied with the performance of this device for the price. You get what you pay for. The magnification goes from 40x-1000x. And image quality from 640x360. Just enough to see microscopic things very well. But I think I ruined my device after I could stand the stench and sprayed the camera with alcohol until it came off.
