The trackpad doesn't work very well

One of the main things that attracted me to this product was the mouse pad. But it literally bounces everywhere except where I want it to. I liked the backlit keyboard. BUT I think unfortunately I think I'll have to break down and get an Apple notepad which I was trying to avoid due to the price.
