I really like Extremerate stuff, they have nice skins for DS4 and joycon/console switches which I've used so far. It's a lot cheaper and MUCH more convenient to put a skin on your controller instead of buying a whole new one. First, if you're not very good with electronics or small screws, it might seem a bit complicated, but it's not that bad. difficult. If you have something like an ifixit set or a small bit screwdriver set, get these. Also look for a YouTube tutorial on how to disassemble a ds4 - again ifixit has a great step by step guide on how to do it. do it all at once than take it apart again, but the back has a great carbon fiber look and also has a very nice "soft touch" plastic feel. It's really great to hold! Much better than the original DS4 controller. Far from "slippery". It loses a star because it's not quite as "flush" as the original shell at a couple of seams, and almost as much as one part being just half a millimeter taller or shorter than the other. It's not bad, but noticeable. Although it's not very distracting. I think it looks great, I've put on my neon green yellow faceplate, but there are so many of them that you can really make something super unique. Very happy with these cases!
