I am very happy with this product as I (Mac user) have been using it for a few days. It's just great learning this piece of gear from top to bottom. This will really help you sort things out when flying IFR. Installation on a Mac is easy if you carefully follow the installation instructions on the company's website, particularly regarding where to put certain files. However, I wish they would completely separate the Mac instructions from the PC instructions. I encountered an error and very quickly received a helpful email response that resolved the issue. I am using this 530 box from a 15 port USB hub and it works fine. And yes, when the Mac is turned off, the 530 (essentially the second monitor) turns off automatically. Now I'm tempted to take a large (very good, heavy steel) mounting plate and put the 430 under it. Kudos to RealSimGear!
