Surprisingly heavy shelves

I was surprised at just how heavy and sturdy these shelves are. I had intended to hang them in a corner adjacent to an upper cabinet using command strips rather than screwing into the side of a cabinet. Scratch that idea, they are too heavy for that. But that’s ok, I like that they are so sturdy, I’ll hang them elsewhere with no concerns about the weight of objects placed on them. The finish was very nice with no scratches or other flaws. Overall, very nice shelves for the right application!

I like these shelves. They're actually pretty big for being corner shelves and pretty sturdy.

Cons

The rustic style may not fit with modern or contemporary décor
