The new one works with no problems
I used the original spark plug with cooler on 4 very long car trips. Everything worked fine, but the plug that fits into the cigarette lighter socket gets very hot. I took great care that nothing was blocking this area. In the end, this fork melted on the cord. The new one works fine, no problems. Overall I like the cooler and it has worked very well for us. We plug it into the outlet in the motel room when we stay at night, and with this cord we plug it into the cigarette lighter in the car.
