Review on KOOTION Portable External 120GB USB C by John Shorter

I had high hopes for this SSD because the first photo of the product showed an iPad and the blurb mentioned that it was compatible with Apple products but not with dice My iPad Air 3 has a Lightning connector that doesn't appear to be able to deliver enough power to run an attached SSD. I'm sure it will work with new iPads that come with a USB-C port, but it doesn't work for me. The SSD seems to be very good. It's tiny, more than small enough to put in your pocket and forget about it, and the transfer speed is good enough. I copied a 1.5GB movie to the SSD in about 5 seconds. I was tempted to keep this thing in case I ever need to transfer files to and from my Google Pixel 4A. It seems like the easiest fix, and at this price point, anyone who has a phone should have it.
