I find that space heaters with fans dry the air and throat out, so I'm always looking for fanless options. I haven't seen many such units that still oscillate, and this is a brand I have had good experiences with in the past.First, gotta talk about the one questionable thing about this heater, it comes with this weird triangular guard bracket that you can mount on it that wards you away from the top of it by about eight inches. Now, you, or a small child or pet can still easily touch and be burned by the other two and a half feet of grill, but that top six inches is mildly harder to get to. Not sure what the point is there, I wouldn't bother installing it.Yes, keep kids and pets away from this. It get HOT. It's a heater doing its job and doing it really well. The high setting on this quickly heats a large room, and standing in front feels like a roaring fireplace. The low setting takes longer to fill the space, and more like walking by an oven or stove that's been on for a while. The grill is tight enough to prevent you from reaching the element, but it still gets stoveburner hot. Luckily the handle on the top is robust and easy to access if you had to move it before it had cooled. It is decently bright, but that's to be expected from this style of heater.TL;DR - it gets really hot, as it should, and it also oscillates, a nice bonus. Light and easy to move with its handle.
