I had terrible dry cracked flaky heels. I bought them because nothing else worked. I wore these heels most of the day, every day for a week, as instructed. I put lotion on my feet before I put them on in the morning. In the evening I took them off and let my legs breathe. I also wore them before bed a couple of nights and re-creamed my feet before bed. After 7 days I literally couldn't tell my heels had ever snapped - they are perfectly smooth. Now I only wear sleeves 2 or 3 times a week to support my heels. I haven't had them long enough to know if the gel will come off like other reviewers have said, but I don't care; I will buy a few times every two weeks when my heels look and feel as good as they do now.
