After having constant problems connecting to the G930 headset (tried two of them!), I was hesitant to buy a Logitech wireless headset. I'm using this in an environment with 2 wireless routers, 3 computers with WiFi, making it very difficult for the G930 to stay connected. Then I saw "Pro Grade Wireless" in the G533 features, I decided to give it a try and I'm very glad I did! Advantages compared to the G930: Reliable wireless connection, no dropouts in very harsh 2.4 GHz environments. Better range! 10m through walls, I'm pretty sure it can go 15m as Logitech claims in open areas. Much better battery life at 12+ hours. Cons: Not as comfortable, it has fiber ear pads compared to the leather/vinyl on the G930. Plastic and looks cheaper as it is less snug on the head. You can barely see the red dim light when it's on! I mean you need to make a serious effort to see if it's enabled. However, great WiFi is worth it and I'm willing to bet it's way better than anything else. Update: There are some reviews here complaining about the low microphone volume. Here's a simple solution: this headset's microphone is retractable and can be bent towards your neck, allowing you to position it closer to your mouth. It doesn't cause any comfort issues, and the mic still swivels nicely if you want to mute it.
