This product works great with 1" threaded rods. Unfortunately I didn't realize I had a 1 1/8 Threadless BUT I was able to use cables, a case and a new 360 bearing ring on my bike. The only parts I didn't get to use were the new top and bottom If you're just replacing cables and bearings it's perfect. If you are doing a REMODIFICATION, you must order the correct size stem. ADVANTAGES, this kit is a lot cheaper than 1 1/8" stem kits. So it's a GREAT alternative to swapping out cables and a 360 bearing!
