Review on Crafting Scissors with Flexible Handles: Maped Sensoft by Barbara Simmons

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I'm very glad I bought them for my class!

I bought these scissors for a left handed student who was having trouble completing interactive workbooks with the rest of her class. While I understand that he will eventually need to learn to adapt to right scissors, I still wanted to try and adapt and buy one for now. I could immediately tell a difference in his comfort while cutting and he was able to complete tasks much faster and with less effort. He used to need help mostly before he usually gave up before he could cut out the pictures and shapes as the other scissors hurt his hand and he had no experience to adjust the scissors. Up until this point, it had never occurred to me to have left-handed scissors in class, but now I'm so thankful to have one on hand (no pun intended). I attached a small ribbon to this pair to let other students know that this pair is special and especially for my left handed students. I don't see a problem with right-handed students using these scissors, but I don't want other students to grab them and think it's just another regular pair of scissors. I am very happy with my purchase. In my opinion, they are suitable for both children and adults.
