Review on ๐Ÿงบ Nouvelle Legende Cotton Flour Sack Towels: Commercial Grade, 28x29 Inches, White (Pack of 12) by Amanda Thomas

Why are they so rare? Finally, the hard-to-absorb kitchen towel from my past

I grew up with an unwritten rule in the kitchen: you had towels (terry cloth) and kitchen towels (a bag of white flour). Linen towels were always clean and white and dishes were dried just the way you wanted them. I think my mom got them from the Savon pharmacy and they were so easy you'd expect them to be last. Let's jump forward. You can buy retro flour sackcloths at IKEA, Target, anywhere. I've had many, many (especially IKEA because they are so cheap and I love how they look). But I've always wondered why they aren't as absorbent as my mom's (she still has the old ones). I abused mine in the kitchen for years because they were nothing special. I use them like paper towels and they work great for that purpose. BUT. I decided to look for a real deal with Revain. There are many vendors that sell them. I went to the reviews, took my time to check them out and chose these ones because they looked very promising. As soon as I took them out of the box I could tell they had the porous, cotton-like muslin feel I was looking for. . They are a little wrinkled, which suits me. Their absorbency is 10/10. Completely pure white. And about $2 each. I would like to purchase a few boxes of these babies if for some reason they are not available. My mom is a little surprised but happy for me.
