Review on Gislaved Nord Frost 200 205/55 R16 94T winter by Celina Kowalska ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Perfect purchase for me, exactly what I was looking for!

In early October, I changed to my old Hakkapelita5 in the hope of riding another season. It seems that they balanced it to zero, but when they left the track, strange sounds began, like vibration. Something similar happened at the end of last season and was not observed on summer tires. After a little thought, I decided that I would still buy fresh winter tires. The price for Hakkapelita8 immediately scared me off. I know that it is worth its money - my old Hakkapelita5 (made in 2022) skated for eight seasons, the tread is almost like new, it never failed, 80% of the studs are in place. But over 30K for a set ofrubber is not ready to spread. And Gislaved NF 200 caught my eye. Judging by the tread - the same goodContiIceContact, only the price is lower. Since the model is new, there are no reviews on the Internet. We can say that I bought at my own peril and risk. The price also bribed the fact that tires are assembled onContinental lines (albeit in Hong Kong). The quality of a tire largely depends on the raw materials and equipment on which the tire is assembled. It seems like imported raw materials are imported for Gislaved, andContinental machines are mostly German (=high-quality). This bribed. By the way, about the tire assembly here (though Pirelli is in Kirov) you can see here ? v=nDFvMscqrgE Got 2 tires 14 weeks 2022 and 2 tires 15 weeks. In principle, it’s not scary - you can say that from the same batch. The NF200 cannot have stale tires in the print shop, because release just started this year. You immediately feel that the outer sidewall is slightly stronger than the inner sidewall, which is not surprising for an asymmetric tire. I expect improved grip from asymmetry. The exact number of spikes is not indicated anywhere, but it feels like there are fewer of them than in the same Hakka. The spike is short, due to which its low noise level is declared. The shape is interesting - in the form of the letter Y. They say that the spikes are made at the Finnish factory Tikka, owned by the sameContinental. There is nothing more to say yet. There is no snow yet, so I roll my old tires and change to Gislved on the first solid snow. To becomntinued.
