My husband let me choose a ring as a valentines gift and was amazed I chose this ring (much less than the budget he gave me) and insisted I choose, which would be more expensive. We are saving for my dream ring to upgrade in the future so I just settled on this one to satisfy my aquamarine craving and I am very satisfied. Of course, the ring isn't "perfect," but for the price, I win. I'm not complaining. Although the color is very light, almost transparent at some angles, even on aquamarine rings that cost several hundred dollars, reviewers have complained that the stone is very light, so I'm not overly concerned about that. Picky, I should mention that the main gemstone is set askew in the prongs and this quality seems to vary from ring to ring. I ordered 2 and both were crooked, one had a cloudy stone and the other stone was smaller than the other.
