I had problems with the adapter at first. Most of them were caused by my misunderstanding of the USB-C port on the adapter and its capabilities. Namely, it doesn't use the power needed to charge my Apple laptop. Lention was kind enough to send me a new adapter. Replacing the adapter fixed the problem. I'm using a MacBook Pro (13" 2016) and the included power adapter. Connect the power supply directly to the Type-C input of the adapter, and then connect the adapter to my computer via the Type-C port. Now recognizes the laptop connects to the power source and charges normally I believe the Apple power supply is 60w so I replaced the 60w source with a 30w source to see if there was any issues with the There were no problems, the laptop started charging normally again. In addition, the Type-C connection works great in pass-through mode. The adapter I used does not have an Ethernet port. I only have mine to test ethernet source (also a type c connector) plugged into the lintion and then to my laptop and the ethernet functionality is identical to the way i normally boot the system finally i was able to take advantage of the unique property of the adapter, n namely two different types of USB "B" connectors. The mouse I used required a USB Type 2 connector, while most regular adapters only have a USB Type 3 adapter. I definitely find the adapter very useful for my office setup. I can recommend the Lention Adapter to everyone.
