Revainrating 3 out of 5

i think it's ok for tools and equipment

I deducted 2 stars because the product received is different from the picture (major annoyance) and there are some design issues are . But it does the job I bought it for. The connecting rods are threaded 5/8"-18 at the bottom and 3/8" rivets at the top. They were a lot thicker than the picture shows, but the struts that go on them were a lot thinner than the picture shows. They come with hex adapters for the pressure application. The crossbar is threaded for a compression bolt, which is odd as it comes with a compression nut (which was a regular nut, not a heavy duty nut as pictured). So good luck getting 10 tons of force on a bolt with a 1/2" wrench (instead of using a nut to apply force). Pot metal is cheap. And the crossmember can be drilled out if I can't apply enough force with it. I'll let you know if I have any serious problems with it.

Pros
  • Scatterer 2 1/8" to 7 1/4"
Cons
  • Not bad but...
