Great for protecting home appliances
Recently our electricity has been switched on/off/on/off which is not good for appliances like air conditioners. I used two of these with our mini split heat pumps and in just a few days the power went on and off in quick succession. After the initial shutdown, this unit turned off the AC power and left it on until the power stabilized for about 4 minutes. The only issue I had was that the output jack, although rated for 20 amps, is a 15 amp type that doesn't have an extra cross pin on the bottom. I had to change the spark plugs from 20 amp to 15 amp.
