My daughter is 7 years old, she is lanky. I bought medium shorts for her basketball class. Pink is a nice pink and not transparent. I have 2 problems - the length is a bit short. The medium size fits loosely on it, but I can tie the laces inside to make it tighter. I also had another order for a small size but it was too short for her legs. So it had to be returned.
