Whoever invented these things is a genius! When renovating a house with copper pipes, it is necessary to move the pipes temporarily. Cut the copper off the clean ends of the pipe, insert a piece of cross-linked polyethylene between the cut piece and you're done. Surprisingly I don't work fast, some of these have been up and running for over 2 years with no problems!
