My 8 (almost 9) year old son burns through his socks like toilet paper. He has autism and ADHD and is more active than any other person I've ever met haha. Constantly running, jumping and generally just walking! I bought these socks hoping they would last a little longer than regular Target and Old Navy. When they arrived I could tell right away that they were thicker, softer and of higher quality than our usual selection. Now these are his favorite socks in his drawer! However, based on other reviews, I decided to order one size smaller than the recommended size and I'm very glad I did! My son is very average height for his age (9 at 3 weeks) and wears size 2 shoes (although he's almost outgrown them). As he has special sensory needs he hates socks that are too big on his foot or go too high on his shins/calfs so I actually ordered a little boy a size 9-2.5 although the company says that this size is for boys aged. 4-7 They fit him PERFECTLY and he still has room to grow. If your kids are unhappy that they don't have flexible socks like mine and they are about a size 2, I would recommend going down the size. I sincerely hope this review was helpful to someone else! And yes, I paid full price for it. Feel free to ask any questions!
