Pleasantly surprised by the quality and brightness of this lamp for this price. The only questionable issue I found with the flashlight was the bolts holding the flashlight to the magnet; They didn't come with lock washers or lock nuts, so they'll likely come loose on their own. I ended up using nylon locknuts instead of the nuts that came with the kit. I've read that there was some concern about the lack of strength of the magnets, but I've had no issues with my truck running under normal conditions. I ended up taking the cigarette lighter socket apart and installing/plugging the switch directly to my overhead console to keep the plug from dangling in my car. Also of concern was that the pigtail from the lamp to the power cord was a bit short and that connection wasn't weatherproof - and it really is, but for my installation that wasn't a problem because I was able to get it in. truck and in bad weather. The light is bright enough and I have had several comments from my firefighter brothers that it is as bright if not brighter than their expensive fancy brand emergency lights.
