First of all I would like to apologize. I work with beverages to make a living. I would be an expert on anything to do with beverage lines, pumps and the systems that use them. That's a big mistake. Very expensive for the money compared to an excellent commercial pumping system. It has to be a kit. Don't do it yourself? The risk of leakage is not justified. I apologize for trusting Mfg to provide a reasonable solution. I do this all day so I need an economical option. The device has no pressure cut-off. This makes this pump around $30 for a pond solution that you need to replace and keep outside every few years. So if it bursts and leaks, you don't care. The sound made when the pressure reaches its maximum will reverberate throughout your home. It will operate 24/7, so life expectancy will be short. Very short. He has a very bad flow. It's hard to go into detail here, but PSI alone is useless. You want the pump to maintain 30psi per minute and recover quickly to around 80psi. This pump obviously cannot provide the required flow rate. Only buy a system with regulator, pump and pressure cut-off. Anything under your sink poses a huge water hazard that could cost you thousands of dollars in damage if something goes wrong with this cheap product. iSpring should provide the best solution. Reverse osmosis systems work slowly. The flow rate PSI is the only way to make a system workable and iSpring can supply a kit to do just that in a matter of hours. For me this is the third shot with this brand. Since the filters need to be changed, I'll probably buy a new system and get it right. A real system costs about $600 to make it safe so you don't end up with flooded closets one day. Don't reinvent the wheel. All convenience stores have similar systems on a larger scale, but the basics of a water supply system haven't changed in 60 years. This iSpring system with its pumping solution has failed.
