I fell victim to the sexuality of this machine. The bronze color is so beautiful and fits perfectly with my kitchen design. The bronze color added to the cost, but I couldn't resist the temptation; It was love at first sight, I read the reviews. Some were good and some were bad. Impressed with the smoothness and color, I attributed the bad reviews to people who "just didn't know what they were doing". The car arrived in April. Live was even better! I was ridiculously excited to have washed and adjusted it. (Unfortunately, this was the highlight of my week). The first coffee pot in the new car was so good! Check! Then Kerig's side. It went well the first few times I used it. Lightweight, clean and easy to clean. The only disappointment was that as some reviews have stated the coffee dripped very sporadically and splashed a lot. The coffee drops were on the counter, in the car, outside on the cup. Well I figured I could live with that. After all, it was such a beautiful device! And then there were the first signs that I had made the wrong decision. Random Tuesday morning. When brewing a cup from the Keurig side, ground coffee spilled into the cup and got stuck in the K-Cup compartment. Ok, wrong move. I assumed I was just doing something wrong. It couldn't be my beautiful new car! Then it happened again. But worse. Earth everywhere, coffee scattered everywhere. K-Cup is wasted. Again. So I cleaned up the mess and tried again. No problem this time. My repeated cup of coffee was fine. This process from a good cup to a bad cup took several months. Then it became one good cup, two bad cups. Finally, six months after buying the car, I had to admit that my judgment was clouded. After reading the reviews I let beauty take over my instincts. I've cleaned up so many messes from exploding floors, spilled coffee, discarded glasses, and dirty dishes I can't count them all. Today, I owe a debt of gratitude to all of the previous reviewers. Excuse me. I brushed off their negative reviews that warned me not to buy this product thinking they were just doing something wrong. It turns out I did something wrong. I didn't trust her experience. As a child or teenager, I had to learn a lesson the hard way. So - excuse the random strangers who tried to put me off the horrors of this car disguised as a beauty. I should have trusted you For other random strangers who rated this device highly, I'm very glad you're lucky. Bottom line is don't trust beauty more than reason lol. Save yourself a lot of trouble and don't buy this product. Cuisinart is usually a trusted brand (in my experience so far) but this particular product fell short. In fact, the label is not even visible. Just look at my photos to make sure I used the product correctly. yes, I am an intelligent person; but the device failed miserably. More than once. More than I can count The hunt for the 2 in 1 coffee machine/single brew machine is on again. Please, please trust my experience and do not buy this product. Don't go back to that teen who "knew better" and did things anyway just to learn the hard way. Is not nobody got time for that. Ha!
