Works great, much less so in a 2017 car

I know the supposed years say 2019-2021 but after reading some reviews I decided to give 2017 a try. It worked! Your mileage may vary but I think this device may be the same as everyone saying they work for all CarPlay systems. In any case, it works exactly as I had hoped. The sound quality is excellent, works with all standard systems and touchscreen. The only negative I've noticed is a slight audio lag when watching a video or similar, but that's not a big deal and will likely be the case with any Bluetooth audio system. I find the price of this device to be steep, but looks like it's about what they're worth. Overall I would recommend this; even if your car is a little older than 2019.

How it works: DriveLink features Wi-Fi and Bluetooth hardware. It connects via Bluetooth and sends the Wi-Fi credentials to the phone, then disconnects from the Bluetooth network, from now on it works exclusively over Wi-Fi. DriveLink is very easy to install. Make sure your car and iPhone are not connected to other Wi-Fi or Bluetooth networks.
