Works great in my 2020 Audi S5.

Set up was easy to understand and took 5 minutes, the adapter stays connected to the USB data port so it connects when the vehicle is started. That's a great idea and well worth the money.

Doesn't stay connected

This device connected to my 2021 Jeep Wrangler with no problems. Turned off and restarted while driving on the road. It happened again during a phone call. Every time I connected on every trip it gets disconnected. Not worth the trouble.

Ideal for hands-free entertainment

I like CarPlay but wish it had a wireless connection. This device makes it possible. It is very easy to install. You simply plug the USB connector into your vehicle's USB port. You then connect your phone to it via Bluetooth. It takes a few minutes for the wireless connection to start, but after that it reconnects every time you start the car. We had no trouble connecting a phone or car to the device. This is a really great car accessory that is easy to hide in the car console.

Works great, much less so in a 2017 car

I know the supposed years say 2019-2021 but after reading some reviews I decided to give 2017 a try. It worked! Your mileage may vary but I think this device may be the same as everyone saying they work for all CarPlay systems. In any case, it works exactly as I had hoped. The sound quality is excellent, works with all standard systems and touchscreen. The only negative I've noticed is a slight audio lag when watching a video or similar, but that's not a big deal and will likely be the case…

Works right out of the box then turns off

I installed Drivelink on my 2019 Mustang with Carplay cable capabilities. It worked right out of the box as soon as I connected it. Then I drive, after about 20 minutes my screen goes black, the power goes out as if I turned off the car, then restarts. The next day while driving after about 15 minutes the screen freezes and no sound plays, after about 1 minute it goes back to my OEM radio and then reconnects after a minute. This happened while using the navigation which is very frustrating…

Delivering on promises

This tiny box (about half the size of a deck of playing cards) has a USB-C port on one side and a USB-A port on the other. It comes with a very short USB-C to USB-A cable that you plug into your car's CarPlay port. When you connect the adapter for the first time, you will be prompted (on the main unit display) to connect your phone via USB or Bluetooth (this will give you the device name). Almost perfect: car video

I ordered this for my 19 Ford Fusion Energi because my new car came with wireless CarPlay and I like it enough to have it in both cars. The installation is very easy. , simply plug your device into your car's USB port. It comes with velcro stickers to stick it anywhere. I put mine in the recess where the USB ports are at the top so that an open USB port is available in case I still want to plug my phone in for charging. Once your phone is paired with the adapter, it will start automatically. on
