The colors are soft and add a nice ambient light but I would not recommend this product. First, setting the time/date/year is incredibly inconvenient. There are many key presses in difficult to remember sequences to get a record. Also, the fact that the time isn't always displayed (unless it's in Bluetooth mode, pointless nonsense!) is just plain silly. after all, it's a clock. No need to turn over in bed and reach out to PUSH the power button to see the time. And forget it if the product is on a dresser across the room. This little tip is also not listed in the instructions on the packaging. I had to surf the internet to find out. Let's get back to the flowers. Toggling on and off is also an issue, as the "just tap the speaker" feature isn't sensitive at all. So I either hit the damn thing a few times or tapped it in the right place on Tuesday, touched my eyes, and... VIOLA! Let there be light! All in all a good idea. But obviously this is a beta version that requires some thought. I bought this as a gift for my little daughter and she thinks it's cool so I won't be returning it. I haven't tried streaming music through it either, so I can't comment on the speaker/sound quality.
