My Green-throated Parakeet LOVES these nests. I like them because they support him well and since he's injured he doesn't have to crawl all over the cage to get food etc. Building the nest is fairly easy and it can be tricky to install as there aren't any (loose screws and wing nuts)! It is difficult to set up, especially with a large cage. Because the design is simple and birds like to chew, it may get dirty and sag a little over time. I prefer the hemp rope construction because the rope is easy to digest and less likely to get stuck in the crops of birds. In general. I like these little nests for their convenience for my bird.
