I got this small, thin and light cutting board mainly for camping, but ended up using it every day home in action. The wood has a pleasant odor that will fade over time and is soft enough not to blunt a sharp knife. I like to use. Some reviewers don't seem to realize that this is a double-sided board that needs to be flipped over if it naturally warps a bit. Conversely, it re-seats, begins to straighten, and eventually begins to deform in the opposite direction. Then just turn around again. This is a normal natural thing that wood does as a result of the wood expanding due to water absorption when washing on the current cut side. If you understand the nature of natural wood material and adapt to it, it will serve you well.
