I have a small dog of about 14 pounds and he can easily rip and get the bars off this thing.

I bought a 48" in August, now it's December. I have a small dog, about 14 pounds and he can easily rip the bars off of this thing and get off. He got off the first time , I thought maybe the rod he removed was a manufacturing defect, it just wasn't soldered well, I fixed it so it can't come out in the same place, next time I get home there are 3 Poles ripped off (see image attached) and came out again! I understand it could be a manufacturing defect but I don't know. I've added a photo of my dog for size reference.
