Review on DMT A4EE Diamond Whetstone 2X Extra Fine by Brent Ayyagari

I can still get a pretty good edge without this stone just using green X-fine, but THIS stone definitely takes my edge to the next level Stage level - razor sharp and highly polished. At $14 new, don't miss it. I paid $18 and they immediately lowered the price. grrr :-) Maybe I'll get a dresser for diamond paste or 3m grinding lapping pads at some point, but at the moment I don't think it's necessary as the DMT xxf does its job well. I can literally shave any edge I sharpened with this stone. I usually complete a full V with this stone and then add a micro bevel at the very end with ONLY this stone, with 1 or 2 steps up on the aligner. (depending on the blade). Works great! My only complaint is that this item took a while to ship even though it was listed as in stock.
