I've been using epoxy for a few years and everyone says alumalite is much better for turning wood so I tried pine cones. The pinecones took 6 months to dry and I roasted them for 10 minutes before adding the resin (like I do with epoxy). You can see the results - muddy white stuff around the pinecones. It definitely mixes faster, easier and odorless, but the results after 4 hours in a pressure pot just sucks. I will glue it with epoxy. It's cheaper and handles clear.
