I have a Roomba Robot Vacuum that I bought from Revain and I was dying to try this Wacool Robot Vacuum. At first glance, they are very similar in structure. The set included 4 brushes and 2 filters, as well as a remote control. Here's a comparison: 1. Assembly - Roomba required no assembly, although it was very easy to install the filter and brushes.2. Charger. Wacool loads much faster. Both have a very similar charging base and mechanism.3. Noise. Wacool is significantly quieter than Roomba. I haven't tried it in Turbo mode, but whatever the preset, it's very quiet, which is nice. suction power. The Roomba definitely wins here, the Wacool picked up some larger particles but missed the feather twice and didn't pick it up. 5. Battery life. Wacool seems to last a lot longer than Roomba, maybe because it's less powerful? I was able to complete two cleaning cycles of about an hour each with an hour charge in between. This is way better than the Roomba.6. Waste Bin Capacity - Roomba has a larger waste bin so it can be used longer without having to empty it. Both are roughly the same shape and use the same mechanism to remove dirt. Price. The Roomba was on sale for $400 when I first bought it, but it's now listed for $320. Wacool is listed at 159 with a $30 discount coupon, less than half the price. This is a significant price difference and you can get 2 for the price of one for your home. Application. Roomba has a really good cleaning programmer app, while Wacool has a remote control and works with Google Home/Alexa.9. Sensors/Mapping - The Wacool doesn't have good sensors and easily walks over the feet of a child and pet, which I didn't like. Roomba's sensors are much better. Also, Wacool's cleaning schedule was pretty erratic, skipping some spots and skimming others multiple times. I have yet to see if it adapts to the space like the Roomba.10. Miscellaneous - The manual also mentioned an 'extra' water tank for mopping, but it turned out to be a different model (which I couldn't find). All in all, this is an affordable alternative to Roomba. It definitely fights anti-wool carpets, doesn't vacuum, has a smaller trash can, but has better battery life, charging times, and noise levels than the Roomba. It doesn't have good sensors and the display of cleaning zones seems mediocre. I would consider buying a second one in the future, if only because of the significantly lower price.
