Guys it was very easy. You can either measure or just hold it and make marks for cutting. I chose the second option then just folded and pressed down to form a line and I trimmed with scissors and trimmed the corners with a blade. It will stretch a little so don't pull it or the size will be wrong. I cleaned the glass with a cloth and then sprayed a plain green paint on the window and film (after peeling off the backing). I then set it down and since it was wet I was able to move it into place until I squeezed out the liquid. Again, don't press too hard and keep it steady with your other hand. (mop not included). It's so pretty and really brings the prisms down when the sun is out and it's a bit cooler and very private. It dries in a day and still holds up, but there's no glue on it so I know it's easy to peel off if needed. I love it. I made three small windows in the kitchen and bathroom. I even had to assemble two pieces with the factory edges on a window, but it hardly shows. I taped them together with blue tape until it dried.
