Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Enhance Your Stability with BETOOLL Brackets Bracket Mounting Hardware by Etai Gopala

Two tips for assembly

First the brackets need to be hammered onto a 4 x 6 pressure treated joist - this takes 20 minutes of continuous hammering. This will push the ends in a little. Submerge the entire mount in hot water! The easiest way to do this is in a plastic litter box - partially fill it with the hottest water from the sink, then add boiling water. This does not eliminate hammer blows, but halves the effort required. I assembled the swing by first laying a 4 x 6 beam on two ladders, one taller than the other so the taller side is at least 7 feet off the ground. Insert the 4x4 posts into the bracket at the top - make sure the posts fit all the way into the bracket - then secure that side with screws. Then lift the end that was on the shorter ladder even more and do it on the other side - the swing stands upright and is ready to go. I'm not strong and could do it almost without outside help.

Pros
  • ATTENTION!!!!! Bracket holes are 3-5/8" x 5-5/8" and 3-5/8" x 3-5/8". Make sure the length of the top 4x6 beam is less than 114 inches. The top beam may bend if it is longer than 114 inches.
Cons
  • poorly thought out
