Works great in a 28ft caravan

Photos are a bit dark but you can see them better when you open them. The queen bed in our trailer weighs about 86 pounds. Our storage box is 30" long, 48" wide and 21" high. I bought a small set. We bought the mattress without measuring the space in our RV and between the foot end of the bed and the foot end of the bed are actually only about 6". wall. Attempting to lift the bed by hand to access the drawer was next to impossible, and we have never used the under bed storage space before. This kit took about 10 minutes to install an hour following instructions slowly and precisely. shocked when i finished. worked great on 1 try. it opens and closes effortlessly and now we can use some much needed storage. but having an assistant would be a lot easier - read the instructions carefully, for example if you are measuring the bottom bracket, the instructions say you must measure INSIDE the foot of the bed, not outside the box you need for I your box a piece of wood? grandfather to install the bottom bracket? I had to install 17" 2x4s so I could secure the bottom of the bracket. The thickness of your storage box's lid. I had 1/2". Using the included gold screws and the included wooden squares, the screws are almost too long, and if they If drilled deep into the wood block, they will come out of the cover (and possibly tear the mattress). If your cover isn't 1/2" tall, you'll need to buy shorter screws. I added a handle to the underside of the cover that the storage box closes. Since our bed is so close to the wall, I want to make sure we pull in the middle every time and the handle was a quick/easy fix. You'll need a 3/8" wrench, pencil, or Felt tip pen, a flathead screwdriver (to remove the shock from the mount after testing), a cordless drill with bits of different sizes and a Phillips head, a tape measure , a bracket, wood glue, extra screws (if wood is needed to attach the lower brackets)
