Excellent product. Works as advertised. They are actually cloning sensors that have failed (usually due to a dead battery). This system eliminates the need for very expensive TMPS tools to fit new sensors to your vehicle. You must have the 974-503 programming tool to program the 974-301 or 974-302 sensor with the appropriate communication protocol for your particular vehicle and enter the serial number of the TPMS sensor you are replacing. The serial number is not always easy to identify among other numbers on an old sensor, so the tool even shows you a graphic of where to find the serial number on your particular sensor. (Very important) If you are using an old sensor (clone) serial number, you must remove the old sensor from your vehicle or the old sensor will send incorrect, inconsistent data to your TPMS system. It seems to me that most if not all of the reviews are due to a lack of understanding of how this system works or their inability to remove the old sensors from the area.
