We used to cover our kennels (on the enclosed patio) with a large blanket during the day to keep them cool when it was hot and warm when it was cold (it's rarely very cold in California) , but often ripped off the covers and dragged him across the yard. These kennel covers are just what we needed. Sturdy, well made, beautiful and not removable. We just leave the doors unlocked and our dogs are free to get in and out. They keep the kennels shaded and cool during the day and warm in the evening before we let them in. The price can't be lower either.
