This strap fits Casio G-Shock watches that use opposing threaded fasteners (not spring loaded pins) to secure the strap to the watch. It is identical in shape and finish to the original strap which broke after 6 years of almost daily use. Note to the wise: Oppositely threaded fasteners require a lot of torque to disassemble, and you may not have the right tools to get the job done without damaging the watch or injuring yourself. I paid a local watch mechanic $7.50 and waited 30 minutes for them to do the job with the right tools. It seemed a reasonable price judging by the price of this genuine band replacement. The mechanic commented that he was surprised and impressed by the perfect fit on my G1500 - apparently he has a lot of customers who order G-Shock straps that just don't fit their watch.
