I have upgraded all the forward-lighting on my car to LEDs, but still had name-brand 881 halogen bulbs in my fog lights. There are LOTS of options for "white" LED fog lights, but not many for AMBER lights, which is what I had with the old halogen bulbs. The company I used for the rest of my LED's didn't make an amber 881 bulb, so I chose these ones instead.What is the difference between an 881 and an 880? The 881 has a 90-degree downward bend in the socket, whereas the 880 doesn't. These 880s were just as easy to install as the 881's, and cast a great amount of amber light.When I had the regular halogen amber fog light bulbs, it looked like the amber was overpowered by the brighter white LEDs I use as headlights. Now with LED amber for fog lights, they aren't as dim when compared to the headlights.For not that much money, these are a real good deal!
