I used it on my 2008 Mercedes GL320. Good: Quality device and when I got it it worked fine. Bad: Installation is complicated and there are no instructions. First, it has a threaded base and a large collar that screws onto the bottom. This eliminates the need to push it inward. The clutch pulls the ball joint into the strut. However, the collar needs a special tool to turn it properly. A small tap can do this, but the torque required will break many taps. I ended up using a large pipe wrench and auxiliary rod to get the grip and torque needed to get the yoke fully onto the threads. Second, the ball joint fitted appeared to be slightly taller (maybe 3/4" than the OEM). As a result, once it was bolted (with a collar) into the strut, there wasn't enough clearance under the outer CV joint to fit it placing the nut on top of the ball joint I finished the whole process in reverse order and (1) installed the TOP of the ball joint into the forearm, (2) pushed the strut and axle shaft into place and (3 ) attached the BOTTOM ball joint with a cable tie on the strut.
